I don't think that the statistic is anywhere that high. Maybe over in somewhere like Liberia but not in the USA or UK. I couldn't calculate the statistics but actual rape is fairly uncommon anywhere with a civilised set of laws and customs. We live in a pretty safe country compared to other parts of the world. 1 in 3 would be closer to the statistic for women living in a place with civil war.

- The fbi stats say that less than one percent of women are raped. FBI versus feminist stats. http://www.fbi.gov/news/stories/2013/january/early-2012-crime-statistics/early-2012-crime-statistics

One in three doesn't sound legit. I don't care about the survey because those girls could be lying and who conducted those surveys is more important. - Men have a 1/3 chance if being a victim of paternity fraud...yet no ones whining about that
- I've read an article on this statistic.
Basically, there was a study that didn't ask girls "have you been raped" - it asked them very specific other questions and drew conclusions from them.
One of the questions, for example, was something like "Have you ever had sex while you were so drunk you didn't feel capable of making rational decisions." And those were counted as rapes.
Rape-by-alcohol is a very tricky subject. I'm not going to say it doesn't exist, because I've seen it attempted more than once - a girl who had made a decision not to sleep with a guy; a guy who was very intentionally trying to get rid of her inhibitions with peer pressure to drink.
But suggesting that every single girl who has sex while blackout drunk is a rape victim goes much too far. - Yep, because I apparently have a 1 in 4 chance if I don't go to college so I'm willing to risk it for the benefits of college.
- I don't believe it at all ~ and I'm not going to get freaked just because I'm the last women in the room.
That's called sexism ~ and believe me I've slept in college rooms (joy of assignments) full of dudes and none laid a finger on me. - It's all part of the patriarchy. Want to know why many men support affirmative action? So they have access to more non-consensual sex.
- I don't believe the statistic - it's all anecdotal/hypothetical, not demonstrable.
That said I probably would sign up to such a college right away (because fetishistically I'm warped like that!) - And let's say there are 21,000 students in this college that would mean ... never mind you got the idea it would mean that every minute 7000 female students are getting raped. Let me tell you the rape crises centers would be overworked, and who knows what else. Then how in the daylights would classes operate with all those rapes going on?

- I believe that young women should avoid college and instead look for a husband. She can always go to school later when she's old and bored and all the kids are off on their own.
