77% of male prisoners reoffend and only 23% of female prisoners reoffend after release. I can't post links on my phone, but I found the stats pretty easily. I was wondering do you think the high rate of reoffense in male is why men get longer and more severe sentences?

- There are more male criminals then female criminals, and females are given the benefit of the doubt more in the criminal justice system then men. Everyone also knows people are less likley to report a woman, wheather it be a woman threatening them, or domestic violence with a crazed, abusive woman. Women tend to get away with more.

- It's because of testosterone. Men are naturally more aggressive due to this hormone. Some men channel this aggressive energy into creative and productive things, like technology, invention, and exploration,. whereas others channel it into destructive things like violence, theft, assault, rape, murder, pointless aggression, etc.
Yes, there are fewer women in prison but there are also fewer female inventors and innovators.
If you are female and you get a shot of testosterone, you will feel and understand what I'm taking about.
