I know some men have these notions about foreign women but have never actually dated one so this question isn't directed towards them.

I know at least three men who have dated and even married women from different countries. All have lost some of their life savings, all are men over fifty, divorced or separated. They went looking for women in other countries that they could control, usually younger, who could not speak their language. In each case, the women learned the language, divorced/left them and went back home, taking their pensions, savings, income. In almost every situation these were men who had previously divorced because they were abusive and believed that a woman from a foreign country would find they inherently wonderful. Many of these men have done this several times, still looking for love in all the wrong places and never, ever looking at themselves. BTW Two of these men are relatives, another is a relative of my BF's.

Of course I know they want my green card - American men aren't men. They aren't in touch with reality and are not down to earth people. They're immature and have a lot of growing up to do. 20year old non-American men are more mature than American 35 year old males.
- My Dad dated a Fillipino woman called Lizza and I thought she was great. She was hilariously funny. She came out with the most odd things, she once came up and told me that she had 'strong periods' and she used to tell my Dad off for wearing jeans in his 40s. However my Dad ended it with her because she used to nag him and get angry all the time. She physically attacked an off duty policewoman in a pub because she was drunk and was flirting with my Dad. When my Dad broke up with her she called up the phone at 3am in the morning and would swear and put the phone down and she kept doing it for years. It was hilarious. She had a son from a previous relationship and she is with an American man now strangely enough. She did do all my Dad's cooking, washing and cleaning though and he said he never ate so well in his whole life.
- The term you're looking for is "non-Americanized women". There's a distinction because foreign women who have lived here for at least a couple years will be almost indistinguishable from your typical american girl, other than their physical features.
Answer: I wouldn't know because I've never ventured off and started dating a woman I've met outside of North America. But I certainly do know for fact that socialization is different for women in the West and in the East. - I myself have not dated foreign yet. I have talked to other men that have and they say that foreign women are much more gracious and appreciative of men then the average American woman.
- I haven't dated all that many. When I was in Argentina I dated a girl down there. I have dated a German and English girl before. I didn't see a vast difference. The girl from Argentina was really sweet and cool. The German and English girls were largely the same as American women, except that the German liked this really crappy electronica type music, neither was religious, and were a bit more worldly than the average American.
