Can you understand someone's point of view but not agree with it ?

  3. Yes. There have been quite a few times where I've understood someone's point of view, yet didn't agree with it.

  5. yes so long as I am not blinded by my own intransigent prejudices - I still have judgemental places I wont meet people - like the wearing of nazi regalia etc. Some views, I dont want to meet with understanding as I have a boundary to them.

  7. yea definitely ... My mom says i need all this crap on some list for when i go away to college and i say i don't need 90% of the stuff on it. I understand her point of view and why she thinks i need it but i disagree because i know i'm not going to use any of it. IT doesn't matter though , my money will be wasted on buying the junk -_-
