Why is that most girls who seem like a catch are always single?

I noticed the girls who almost have everything... Pretty face, great personality, good humor, and smarts never really have relationships. Is it because people are intimidated or are they just not as flattering as normal women?

Many guys are intimidated by them, first. Second, it's hard for them to find a good guy. Nice guys are usually only average looking (and sometimes shy- or else awkward and shy guys are also jerks, like me, even though they were mistaken for being nice) while studs frequently enough have crappy personalities or, by and large, are boring and stereotypical. Super awesome chicks simply have no real men to choose, after everything, and they only end up divorced or unhappy if they settle for less than they're worth. Occasionally, a real awesome dude comes out of the woodwork, but he's as uncommon as she is, so, you know... What's the chances they'll ever meet? Slim to none, that's what. So try and get that awesome person and make him/her lower the dating standards for you. All's fair in love and war, as they say!!!

1. I think you probably have a different view of what a good catch is than most men do. The women that we find the most desirable are almost always taken.
   
   And to be honest, women's comments make it clear that they have very little idea what men consider beautiful. I mean they know how to use makeup to make themselves as good as possible, but when it comes to saying whether another woman is pretty, women will often insist that some famous actress who really isn't all that great-looking is drop-dead gorgeous. Women just don't have the same sense for attractiveness that men have. (And I'm not denying that the reverse is also true when it comes to men recognizing which celebrities women find attractive.)
   
   And as for things like 'good humor' or 'smarts' maybe the things you find to be 'good humor' are too much for us. If a person is always joking or being obscene, it isn't feminine, and can be a turn off. As for smarts, well, it depends on what you mean by 'smarts.'
   
2. in many cases its because they have high standards that they themselves dont notice. but otherwise there are lots of situations that can cause a girl to feel unnoticed and end up single. say being a late bloomer. shyness. home situation. how they grew up. though sadly there's no statistics on single girls vs if they seem like they should be single.
   
   PS. some girls that seem as though they shouldnt be single.. usually are the opposite and just seem that way. its all appearances afterall.

5. when they are young, yes. 15, 16, Its really hard to control beauty. Some people are too good looking for their own good. So some of those people just rather keep to themselves. When they get older they used to it and just don't want to end up lonley. Seriously your dating ideas change when you are 25 good looking and single. You are pretty comfortable with your beauty and responding to people
