There's this guy named "Rooshv" or something like that....randomly saw one of his videos about Ukraine on youtube and...he seems like a complete douche to me - he's writing books called "bang ukraine" and he was invited at some tv show in ukraine when they were making fun of him - though he was actually defending himself OK, but still? 10x. @Side note btw: i am happy i got so many answers....thouht this section was 'dead' and the only living ones are Politics and Polls&Srv. and: @Sexy dog: lol.... @Sanscorp: You may or may not be right....do you honestly believe anything this guy says? I agree with Sans, it IS a shaming tactic.
Why would people even care about the men's choices in the first place? It sounds fishy. - I don't think their losers but I do pity them. The majority of them know that these women will only go with them in hope of better prospects and over rarely out of love or affection. Both of these people are taking advantage of the other's nature/desires. The foreign woman knows he wants sex, intimacy and companionship and the man knows that the woman wants money, a nice house and other possibilities that might be somewhat or completely limited in their own country. Both are driven by different desires. For most of these men they do want a sexual relationship they might for some reason be unable to have with a woman from their own country (perhaps they are shy, have little confidence or are unattractive etc). The point is they both get what they want, though it doesn't mean either will end up being happy or that it will work.

If it is anything related to what the society thinks is a "loser" then no I do not think the guy is a loser. - Yes because seeking foreign women ALWAYS makes a man a loser. He should ONLY stick to women of his native country.
Xenophobia is apparently a strength... when it comes to men and dating that is. - Not a loser so much as probably somebody I disagree with morally on issues of power and sex and economic disparity. It's complicated, but it's not something I feel is entirely right.
Sort of like how I feel about people who go to those "hunting" farms where they raise game in cages and then dump it into a fenced area for the "hunters". It's not entirely wrong, and I don't really think they are "losers," but I don't think they are demonstrating strong character.
And that's not to say that women in those countries are somehow less valuable. But they are often disadvantaged, and a man who is not particularly successful in the US or Western Europe is still fairly fortunate by the local standards when traveling to those countries.
