What do you think of the recent story, of the little brother shooting his toddler sister? Do you seriously think it's OK to have guns made specifically for toddlers/children? A "youth gun"? Just wondering. Obviously, i'm from the UK where guns are illegal, so to me it sounds insane. Do you think "child guns" are a good idea? I don't, at all. Why would a young child even need one? What about you? What do you think? http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/video/2013/may/03/five-year-old-shoots-toddler-sister-rifle-video Just for those that don't know Nicholas, if you think guns can protect you from your goverment, you're wrong Facade, exactly. Can any 5 yr old be fully responsible? No. Yet they're quite happy to give them to their little children. Even the adults were in charge, and look what happened!

Guns need to be outlawed. It baffles me that some people just cannot see it. If no one could legally get hold of guns then the need to keep guns because of the threat would be almost non-existent.

Meh actually think guns is rather stupid. - No need for guns in any society.
- Guns kill twice as many kids as cancer.
But NOTHING compares the number of women who kill their own children.
50 MILLION ABORTIONS in the US since 1973 alone. 1 BILLION worldwide.
Not even a world war killed 1 BILLION people. - Yes people need to have access to guns. Just because a few stupid people vote for the BNP, should we ban voting in England?
In the words of one of the great American founders, the amazing Thomas Paine - "The job of a patriot is to protect his country from his government". That's what guns are for.
*YAWN* typical leftist bollocks, making emotive claims to dismiss an argument with absolutely ZERO in the way of reason, logic, or evidence. - that's very sad.. thats why owners of guns have to be responsible - and educated on how to use them properly and safely.
- I think guns are for adults not children.
- I don't see a problem with youth guns. Many people start their children on learning safe hunting/shooting practices from a very young age. That was the case for me, as it was for my children. I never saw the need for "youth guns" and they just used some of my smaller firearms -under my close supervision of course.
Having said that, I don't have a problem with parents buying smaller firearms to teach their children basic shooting and gun safety. It's not the gun that kills its the person behind it. In the case of homes with young children, it is a necessity that the parents take extreme care to keep all firearms safely secured. - the poor choices of uneducated, backwoods folks in the middle of kentucky shouldn't be reflection on a responsible, adult gun owner. of course this was an insanely stupid idea.
unfortunately, america does not hold a monopoly on foolish gun owners: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=053_1229002851 - I cannot speak for them (phut), but guns, knives, cars, fire, and drumsticks need to be used responsibly.
- Guns should be banned completely. They're made to kill.
- I think swimming pools kill far more kids than guns and I've never once heard someone say we should ban them even though it's something nobody really needs.
- Most people who cause mass shootings are criminals who got guns illegally so it wouldn't matter to ban guns. People think banning guns will automatically make gun violence go away it won't violence will always exist.
People will kill each other with any weapon they can find whether it be guns, knifes or bombs.
Guns aren't the problem it's people. The mind is the ultimate weapon.
How are people in America supposed to protect themselves against armed robbers who try to get in their house? The police can't stop everything! - Guns need to be outlawed. It baffles me that some people just cannot see it. If no one could legally get hold of guns then the need to keep guns because of the threat would be almost non-existent.
