No. If there's no boy, there's no one to carry on the family name.

Other Answers:
  1. Everyone has a personal preferences, as long as you don't treat the child badly when it comes out to be a girl. And it will be a girl.
  2. Its an opinion, just what you would prefer, that's not sexist
  3. It's not necessarily sexist, but it's not wise to be telling people about your preference, because when your first born comes along and she happens to be a girl, someone might tell her that you wished she had been born a boy and it's likely to hurt her emotionally.
  4. I don't think it is.

Everyone has their own preference about how they want their families to evolve, whether they admit it or not.

The only thing that would make you sexist in my opinion would be if you were actually saying that you don't want to have a baby girl period!
  5. It's only sexist if you think boys are better than girls. Seeing how you worded your question, it sounds like you intend to have more than one child. So maybe you want a girl later? Which is totally fine. Good luck being a parent!
  6. No, how the hell is that sexist? Everybody says what they want their first child to be
  7. No. If there's no boy, there's no one to carry on the family name.
  8. No, his blood is required for the ritual.
  9. No. You have more in common with him.
