I'm 23 years old, and believe me when I say this. I will NEVER ask a woman or approach them ever again I haven't spoken to a woman, made eye contact with a woman, or made a move on a woman in 3 years. It's better to stay single than deal with that drama. Don't give me that "men have to ask women out, because It's the man's job" crap. No it isn't, if I don't know a woman or have never spoken to her before I don't owe her anything especially asking her out. The last relationship I was in was 3 years ago, her name was Bianca. She was beautiful and sexy, but she was a very mean bitchy person. Since I dumped her, asking women out or even talking to them became a waste of time. She emotionally drained me. I will brief eye contact with a cute woman at my college, but that's as far as it will go. I won't approach her. Why do guys want a girlfriend so bad? After my first real relationship with a woman, it proved to be a nightmare. I'm probably gonna die alone because I will never ask out or approach a woman ever again. Believe me, I'm as serious as a heart attack! I'm not gay at all btw. To Love Doctor: I'm not gay, far from it. What does that make me? I don't want a girlfriend. To TS: I'm fine on my own, I don't need a woman at all.

Well, i can see where you're coming from for the most part. Guys ask out a girl, she runs him broke all for a bitchy personality in return. But i guess not all women are like this. My current girlfriend is very loving and caring and is always making sure I'm comfortable everytime we're together. From what i can tell you're saying is you dont feel like you owe girls anything as to ask them out. I mean, that's true, but you're making it sound like you think you're supposed to ask out every random girl out there without knowing them first. Of course you need to get to know them, why would you want to ask them out otherwise? How would you know you like her at all? Be friends with a girl for a while first, then determine if she's worth your time.

- MGTOW? I agree in some senses, I have to say, although I feel strangely compelled to give you that diatribe that not everyone's the same...
- Not all guys want a girlfriend. Look at gays for example.
- I don't like the whole approaching a stranger in hopes you will be compatible concept either, I would rather just accidentally end up in a relationship with a girl I've grown close to, out of experience it feels more natural and special etc, but I wouldn't say I want it or a lot of young guys want girlfriends, it's probably more about having regular casual sex and that's just a byproduct of having a girlfriend and they put up with the drama because they feel its worth it even if they're not compatible mentally, in general girls can be more selective (its something to do with cavemen instincts and the fact women can only mate 1-2 times a year whereas guys can impregnate several times a day) so there for the most part will always be an expectation of us to hit on girls until we find the right one, it's cool if you want to be alone but every now and then you will meet a girl who will make you forget or not care about all the bad parts a relationship has
- Sandwiches, clean clothes, sex.
Get yourself a new woman and a nice pair of noise canceling headphones. - Well, i can see where you're coming from for the most part. Guys ask out a girl, she runs him broke all for a bitchy personality in return.

But most know this is impossible (if you are a normal straight guy)) when you exclude women as a whole. I`m not saying you must have a relationship but you must deal with women in some way to even have a chance at happiness.
The "right hand man" gets old and tired real quick. At 23 your manhood gets erect alot and its not going away anytime soon. A girlfriend/wife is the correct answer to this common problem among young men. - You don't have to ever approach a woman. And if what you write actually reflects your in-person attitude towards women, you are better off just ignoring them.
It is unfortunate you were emotionally drained. But to hold that against all women shows a lack of resilience. Why let just one woman make you swear off all of them for the rest of your life?
