Would I be lying to you?! :) Look around yourself; yes, there are some exceptions, but it's usually, if not exclusively, men and women who are in the same "league" who end up with each other. Now, you may say that this is true but that it happens only after men have tried to approach women "higher up" many times, only to be rejected all the time. And though there are some masochists our there, do you really think men don't mind being rejected or that it's not humiliating to them?! Trust me, it is, that's why they avoid it; they avoid it by actually approaching women they know won't reject them. Actually, there was a "study" done by a dating website okcupid that demonstrated this. Men were asked to rate each other's pics and then each participant was asked to rate pics of the women he sent messages to in the past. The two distribution lines were almost identical.
Other Answers:
- I would always pick the more desirable girl if I could get her (assuming personalities were equal)
- False: The woman I've gone for is miles out of my league. I make up for it by....
OK I'm working on it.
Yes! Gold star for you. - False, they usually aim higher - natural instinct.
- Ive found that usually average looking guys tend to go for good looking girls because they figure they have nothing to lose by trying and the really good looking guys often end up with a average girl because they have big egos and dont want a girl they think other men will take off them
- Desire is subjective, what is desirable for one man, might be deplorable towards another.
Nobody can accurately take stock of how desirable themselves are, [especially as it varies from one person to another] so it is impossible to answer this question with a simple yes or no. - I think most guys usually go for whoever they can get. But I'm the exception. I only go for girls who are hotter than me.
- "Desirable" is in the eye of the beholder,
