I totally feel you, Even when I'm single, I do not encourage men who offer me drinks or coffee unless I'm attracted to them, and usually not even then cause I'm a big girl with my own money. Those guys or my friends don't understand, but I think it's a kindness not to get a fella's hopes up or lighten his wallet if there's no hope. An initial and a short conversation, maybe. Then I'm going to the bathroom or something. If a guy comes on strong to begin with, I just ignore him completely. When I like someone enough to get into a relationship, my attraction center is completely turned off to anyone else. Smiling is pretty harmless, though. Depending on the situation, the guy might need a nice smile from a girl he finds attractive after a long and difficult day. I have no problem smiling at anyone in any situation, as long as I know I'm not going any further and leading them on.

- Why "should" you? You shouldn't anything. Girls do smile sometimes at other men when in relationships. Sometimes it's because they're always scoping out the next best thing. Sometimes it's because it's just their personality to be flirty. Sometimes they don't realize it's flirting or anything inappropriate.
- Why are you smiling at other men?
- There is no point. You are just a frustrated, confused, angry female. Lol look at yourself, you don't even know what you are even saying.
It doesn't make any sense to you to do something you're not supposed to do, so that's fine just don't do what you're not supposed to do.
I hope you understand, oh young confused female. - Because smiles are nice. Smiles are Nature's way of saying you are welcome. Smiles are the face's equivalent of Smooth Jazz.

Smiling or being VERY friendly well they take it the wrong way. and since you are already "taken" you don't want a guy to think that and it gets to you bf. But it was all a misunderstanding.
Just don't do anything. - I ever though it was a big issue? I thought it was just being polite to others
