Would you rather go on a date with a multi-millionaire or someone who was penniless?

Asked by Name at 23 May,2013
And by "penniless" I mean "not quite homeless, but their apartment contains little more than a mattress, a toothbrush, and a card table."

One who enjoys progress. I rather date someone who had a penny last year and 2 pennies this year than someone who had 100 million last year and 100 million this year. Total honesty on this one.

Other Answers:
  1. A millionaire....this is a no brainer.
  2. It would depend on their personality as money is not everything and a rich person is not necessarily happier than a broke one.
  3. millionaire, I suppose.
  4. Well it would depend on who it is, wouldn't it?
  5. One who enjoys progress. I rather date someone who had a penny last year and 2 pennies this year than someone who had 100 million last year and 100 million this year. Total honesty on this one.
  6. the rich person
  7. Penniless
At least we would have some common ground to start a conversation with
  8. For me, personality and heart are more important than wealth. Sure, millionaires are cool, but if they are going to talk trash to me, be dishonest, and treat me unkindly, I'd go for penniless. Heart speaks louder than fame
  9. A multi-millionaire obviously.
  10. Multi-millionaire, being honest.
  11. a millionaire.

I don't want to be involved with someone who can't figure out a way to at least obtain the basics in life, starting with a decent place to live.

why do people divorce for stupid reasons?

Asked by m1gr2345nbdeaxe at 23 May,2013
ok if you're in a abusive relationship then it makes sense to divorce them, however i think it's stupid to divorce just because your spouse has gotten uglier or because "you don't love them anymore" you know what granny i give up with you because you seem to think that divorcing people because they're ugly is a good thing, you seem to only scold me when dark eyes is bashing all men and you seem to like to insult me so you know what have a nice day

Stupid is as stupid does. --F. Gump

Other Answers:
  1. Because they secretly don't want to have sex with one person for the rest of their lives
  2. Because they're stupid.
  3. Women initiate 75% of divorces.

Mostly their reasons are valid and serious like they get bored, they feel they deserve a better guy, they just dont feel fulfilled etc.
  4. you are right ,that means they never loved the mate in the first place
  5. People just want the marriage party, but later take it for granted
  6. People (all kinds) marry and divorce for stupid reasons. I know a woman who married her husband because he told her he would kill himself if she didn't. They have been married to 50 years and she still talks about ruining her life but can't make a change because she is still afraid he will kill him self and she says she couldn't live with that. I told her she is happiness dead and that is like killing herself. I really can't understand other people and there are some days that I don't understand me.
  7. Stupid is as stupid does.
    --F. Gump
  8. There is usually more to it than that. Marriages don't typically break down overnight, they break down over a period of time. If your partner doesn't respect you, appreciate you or treat you well, then of course you are going to fall out of love - that applies to both sexes.

Granny T - well said. Have a great day.
  9. You're standing as judge on other people's marriages, deciding if their reasons are stupid or not. If a person goes to the effort and expense of ending a marriage, then they obviously don't think their reason is stupid.

Why does it even matter if other people get divorced for reasons you don't approve of?

Marry a lady who feels the same way you feel about this and then it won't even matter what other people choose to do in their marriages.

You think abuse is a "good reason" for divorce...but that's specifically YOUR perspective. However, you think other people should live based on YOUR perspective? It's not your business why other people choose to divorce and that's the truth of it.

There are some people who do not think abuse or cheating is a good reason for divorce and think "till death do us part" means exactly that, no matter what. Do you think you should be forced to stay in a marriage based on that person's perspective?

    Edit:
Thank you. You have a nice day too. :)

True or false: Porn does not show how to have sex?

Asked by Marie Tanya at 23 May,2013
Men and women believe that we are supposed to fuq like they do in porn videos. Yet I hear some people claim that porn is a horrible way to show men how women want it. Unless you are watching something "female friendly", the porn is geared mostly for men. The women performing in these acts are not enjoying themselves as much as they lead you to believe. Do you agree with this or not?

Best Answer:
Name at 23 May,2013
All I can say about this is: Not all porn, and not all women, are created equal. There is gentle porn, and there are women who like to be taken very roughly. I think there's truth in what you're saying, but nothing resembling universal truth.

Other Answers:

  2. Porn sex sounds fun. Better than missionary all the time.
  3. Revenge porn is my favorite
  4. Completely agree
  5. I would agree with your assessment. Some porn is just a woman servicing a man until he gets off on her face or in her mouth. This is not the porn to watch, the porn to watch has a silly story that turns into a fcuk session. Mostly women satisfy one another and the man then hopefully satisfies the girls. Not all porn should be viewed has just porn, some is rather good.
  6. False....porn DOES show how to have sex !! However, it does NOT show how to make love or show respect to the female !!
  7. Without porn, I would not know how to properly use the backseat of my jeep.
  8. Porn does in fact show you How to have sex but does not include any emotional bond.

That does not mean that they are not having fun.

They are just like the rest of the world, only about 30% happy in their work.

Men: You're on a date with an incredibly hot woman...?

Asked by Name at 23 May,2013
...and everything goes well, and you go back to your place, and you start having sex. And about a minute into the sex, the woman bites you. Hard. Not quite hard enough to break the skin, but almost. You try to ignore it, because, man, is she hot. But then about a minute later, she does it again. How do you react to this?

Ruin the moment by asking her why she keeps biting me.

Other Answers:
  1. I'd bite her back
  2. I'm a woman so I think I can give good advice, if your not into that kind of thing just tell her your not really into biting and maybe tell her to kiss you instead or bite softer then she is. She'll continue to do it if you don't tell her because she likes it and thinks you lie it. Or you can say "just let me bite you instead".
  3. Ruin the moment by asking her why she keeps biting me.
  4. Bizarre...

I've been asked to bite, and yes...bite hard [which I found odd], but I would never deliberately hurt someone like that.

I didn't oblige him, either... Just a bit too weird for me.
  5. Let her know you have some unopened chew toys among your pet supplies. If she gets angry and leaves, it's no loss. I've never enjoyed freaks who think physical violence is an integral part of sex.
  6. I don't like biters.

Guy or girl. Nothing like sharp teeth to take ya out ta a sexual tranz.

I say please don't bite. Can't stand that weird sh*t.

Teeth dragging along the skin that's fine. But actual clench no.

  3. I don't know about her being a good president but I'm also pretty sure she couldn't be worse than some of the recent ones - like her hubby. I honestly don't know her general politics, policy stands, or even her political affiliations. All I know is that she seems to be doing a reasonable job in her current position. If that qualifies her for the presidency, well then, maybe.

As to your low rating, please remember that people who see a question like that automatically open it if they are in favour. If they don't like her in the first place they likely (unlike you) open it and answer it. That's human nature.
  4. I'm a girl, but I think women would not be able to handle that type of job. And it's not really even a job, it's just a face, while congress runs the show. Most men, I think, that try to run as well, don't fit the job.
  5. The question was asked on a board whose very nature is inherently left-leaning.
Of course expressing an anti-Hillary response is going to be panned.
  6. well she might or might not make a good president. the president doesn't run anything. hes just a puppet. He can make it hard with veto's to change laws. But he surely doesn't create them, and doesn't enforce them.

Women get a free ride in life when their husband is rich.

Hilary Clinton married a president, graduated i believe from yale, a lawyer, real estate tycoon, and secretary of state, and ran for president. And handled her husband affair in the public. She didn't leave and still built her career. Male of Female. I understand the hate people have for her. But judged to every other woman. She sits at the top of my list for motivated. Unless somebody else has another first wife how is closely successful.

Jackie kennedy all she did was marry rich people. She got her money for her sex and he looks.

  2. teenagers have always been confused and depressed, the difference is that nowadays their angst is made public through social media
  3. Need to get out more
  4. Well, first thing that comes to my mind, is the fact that we are all 'subjects of our environment.' So, growing up, what are we subject to? Rising crime, broken homes, diseases, confusion, deception. Just to give a superficial list. Plus, there are so many distraction, we probably dont always realize the affect they may be having on us internally, until we feel down and in the dumps. Plus, society many times keeps us close minded to the outside, i.e., other countries, lands. Sometimes getting away and seeing what is out there and how others live life brings a fresh new perspective.
  5. we aren't all like that! Just the few that are seem to have become the teenager 'stereotype'.
Some say they are depressed because they are told to act like adults but then still treated like children because they're 'in between' the two.
Others are depressed because they believe there is nothing to do for teenagers anymore.
Other teenagers are depressed because they think it's 'cool' to complain about everything - let's hope this doesn't last! (not many people do this though)

Best Answer:

Many child abusers were abused themselves as children (note: this doesn't mean most victums of child abuse become child abusers--most of them do not). Some of them have personality disorders (e.g., antisicial, narcissistic, borderline) and some have personality disorder tendencies. Some of them could have Intermitant Explosive Disorder.

Other Answers:
  1. anger problems
  2. Loners, unattractive people who think children are easier meat. May have been abused in their childhood. Not cared for by parents.

  3. Fear induced anger. You'll never see the fear, but you'll see the anger over little things.

Most were mentally abused as children in addition to physical abuse.
  4. There probably are as many different characteristics of child abusers as there are child abusers! All are without conscience; the successful ones are very convincing to children and project great caring.

when was the definition of sexism and racism changed to only allow straight white men to be the villians?

BQ: how are the majority of white men that live in trailer parks subjugating anyone?

Best Answer:
Ashley at 23 May,2013
When society decided that people's wrong-doings in the past deserved eternal punishment. I am with you, if this is a complaint. Yeah, sometimes people have legit racist and sexist claims where they are entitled to something, but it has become such a "person who cried wolf" tale these days. If my great great grand father killed someone, I don't think I should be convicted of murder should I? So why do people think the fact that since a race was enslaved at one time means we should still be paying for it? I'm not saying everyone thinks this way, but a lot of people do. In fact, a lot of white people even think they should have to pay for what happened long before they were even born. Sure, we need to learn from it and be respectful to all races but that's it. After all, people have made the statement "you're racist against white people" impossible to be said. Is that right? There are clubs that only allow African Americans inside. Did you know that? What do you think would happen to me if I put up a sign that said you can only come in if you are Caucasian? And what about when I hear people of other races saying, "I can't stand white people. They annoy me." I hear this all the time. They say it casual. It doesn't really hurt my feelings. I know they're just talking... but what happens if someone said I can't stand black people. They annoy me. Wow... Look at the difference in how society reacts... People don't realize this is happening, but it is, and it's wrong. For sexism, I find a lot of girls extremely annoying with their feminist beliefs. Yeah, women were deprived in the past but who cares? We really are not deprived anymore. We get to vote. We get to work a job. We aren't forced into some role. We get to choose now. If someone is mistreating you because you are a woman, then fine... take it up with them... NOT all men... just them. To sum all of this up: The definition of sexism and racism changed to only allow straight white men as the villains when people decided that the best way to fix discrimination was to do it themselves.

Heterosexual white males are the scapegoat class throughout the English-speaking world today. It is clear proof of discrimination when individuals are treated differently based on their race or sex, but sadly some people are willing to practice this for personal gain.

Other Answers:
  1. Snore. You should tell your Mommy all about that. Everyone is being mean to you and it hurts.
  2. Because their racism and sexism means nothing to you. It only serves to hurt your feelings. Not to discriminate, or oppress you because those groups overall, don't have the means or the power to do so. People who make these arguments are people who think the past has no bearing on the present.
  3. The sociological definition of racism is "a system of group privilege." It's when one group is kept from having access to money or political power, based on the privileges of another group.

White men have money and political power in greater amounts than any other group.

Therefore they are not victims of racism.

It's kind of funny how if a black person says "That cracker is trying to keep us from voting," a white person thinks *the black guy* is the racist, because, well, obviously the magic word "cracker" is more important than discrimination at the polls, right? Right?
  4. My great grandma told me a long time a go "Racism against white people isn't racism, its Karma." Not saying I agree with this but I can't really blame her considering the time she grew up in.
  5. Heterosexual white males are the scapegoat class throughout the English-speaking world today. It is clear proof of discrimination when individuals are treated differently based on their race or sex, but sadly some people are willing to practice this for personal gain.

why do parents treat you differently than gradparents?

Best Answer:
Emanuel E at 23 May,2013
My grandparents may have spoiled me from time to time, but they laid down the law on me when I had it coming. So not all grandparents treat kids differently than the actual parents.

Other Answers:
  1. because grandparents arent responsible for kids. if the grandparent looked after the child on a regular basis they might punish them more.
i know people who were raised by their grandparents and only saw their parents on occasions, in this instance the grandparents did more of the punishing and the parents did more of the spoiling.
  2. My grandparents may have spoiled me from time to time, but they laid down the law on me when I had it coming. So not all grandparents treat kids differently than the actual parents.
  3. Because becoming a grandparent is the ultimate revenge on your children.
  4. It's not the grandparents' job to raise their grandchildren [not usually]. Disciplining is a parental job. Grandparents have already gone through it, now it's their turn to enjoy their grandchildren, rather than being sure they grow up to be able-bodied, contributing members of society. The time spent with grandparents is normally a limited amount of time, and they can give the kids back to their parents.
  5. parents have to raise you, grand parents just have to watch you.

  1. They aren't always that's a stereotype. Anyone can be. It can be a psychological condition.

Both teenage girls and guys have mood swings cause of raging hormones.

Men and women both have hormones.
  2. We'll never know.
  3. Because men spend 23 hours a day beating women
  4. because there are more woman beaters/abusers that are men then there are men beaters/abusers that are women
  5. Not only is emotional response a response to environment, but also a reaction to other factors like hormones. While both sexes have variations in hormones during the day, the menstrual cycle is hugely variable and almost entirely varying on psychoactive hormones that have been demonstrated to influence not only sexual preferences in different types of men but directly affect things like the sense of taste, smell, and other environmental sensitivities.

So, the short answer is women are more prone to mood swings because they are internally more variable across time in how they react to stimuli.

I had a near-death-experience some time ago--I was caught in the Kansas City Flood and swept under the front of a parked car. I grabbed the front bumper and braced one foot against the front wheel, but was slowly being pulled down under. I could breathe, but was also coughing on water. Then all of a sudden, I felt euphoric, and felt like letting go. But (my mind, I guess) said to me, "You CAN'T DO THAT TO KAREN!" Karen is my little Daughter and I then fought to keep my grip. Two brave young men then waded out and pulled me out from under the car and took me to the near-by hospital where they pumped some water out of my lungs. About 40 people died that night, and I gave thanks that I wasn't one of them. I later researched that experience, and found that when the brain is dying, it releases its whole load of endorphins--thus the euphoria. Not scared of death--but prefer to go on living my life to it's full length. Happy at 83.

What does nature vs. nurture mean?

Asked by Bri at 22 May,2013
I never understood this term can you please explain it

Best Answer:
athleticscholar at 22 May,2013
It just means genes vs. experience. Some psychologists used to believe that a person's personality is due to experience alone (all the things we've learned and experienced in life), while another group used to believe that our personalities are determined by the genes we've inherited from our parents. This is the nature vs. nurture debate: How much of our behaviour/personality is due to genes and how much of it is due to experience. We now know that our personalities are the result of BOTH nature and nurture (genes and our experiences).

Nature is the way you are designed and would be inevitably irrespective of what happened in life and nurture refers to environmental influences like upbringing having an effect on your personality.

77% of male prisoners reoffend and only 23% of female prisoners reoffend after release. I can't post links on my phone, but I found the stats pretty easily. I was wondering do you think the high rate of reoffense in male is why men get longer and more severe sentences?

Other Answers:
  1. Men have a much harder time learning from their mistakes, it seems...
  2. youre an idiot - good luck with everything x
  3. There are more male criminals then female criminals, and females are given the benefit of the doubt more in the criminal justice system then men. Everyone also knows people are less likley to report a woman, wheather it be a woman threatening them, or domestic violence with a crazed, abusive woman. Women tend to get away with more.

(NO sexist, just the way society is from my studies)
  4. Another guilt trip.
  5. It's because of testosterone. Men are naturally more aggressive due to this hormone. Some men channel this aggressive energy into creative and productive things, like technology, invention, and exploration,. whereas others channel it into destructive things like violence, theft, assault, rape, murder, pointless aggression, etc.

Yes, there are fewer women in prison but there are also fewer female inventors and innovators.

If you are female and you get a shot of testosterone, you will feel and understand what I'm taking about.

Gender studies is full of bitter men and women, is it not?

Asked by Ella La La at 22 May,2013
Your thoughts?

I prefer to call them trolls.

Other Answers:
  1. I prefer to call them trolls.
  2. Yes, mostly troll men through, being completely honest.
  3. There surely are many here.
  4. Bitter like dark chocolate
  5. Real life has more.
  6. No
  7. Anyone who sets out to prove something (study) is critically engaged to examine the minutia of existence, and yes, taken literally and read often, they can suck the air right out of a room.

I prefer to just hit anyone over the head that annoys me.
  8. Yes mostly the men.But I can understand why they're bitter. These are very angry white men with mental disorders. In reality they're unattractive, weird, social rejects and have low esteem.Even if one of them were attractive (which I highly doubt) they aren't wrapped too tight mentally.
  9. The only trolls in Gender Studies are the feminshits who think they deserve "rights".

You see, I am not just critical of third wave feminism, the first and second waves should be criticized too because that would imply that womenz are equal :DDD
  10. There's lots of bitter men and women in real life. A lot of people online are trolls.
  11. No kidding 80% percent of the questions asked in this section are misandric and misogynist questions.

Some could be trolls some could be people who have no social life.
  12. bitter? hateful and jaded is more like it.
  13. lol yes ..it is... good observation
  14. Bitter men. Women to my opinion have a lot of forums to complain in. Whether its your mother, farther, boyfriend, husband, best guy friend, friendshipzone friend, your bestfriend and even at work or to anybody who will hear you. All women relate on a social level about complaints better than a male would relate to another male about a complaint.

So yeah, this is the only place i can complain about anything that is unfair in society. I remember I once made some sexist commit about "damn i need a girl friend so i don't have to do laundry" my friend hannah posted quickly "im going to pretend i didnt read that". My friends just have a better since of humor than some women on here. They don't take me seriously cause they know me personally. And they have better comebacks besides getting insulted. They are quite witty people.
  15. The women don't taste bitter...

    Really! They don't...
  16. I think it is. I never had these thoughts while dating. I married and I'm actually happily married for many years. I don't get this section at all. I made my choices in life and if I choose poorly, I take full responsibility. Bitter people don't take responsibility. It's easier to blame and point fingers than have to look within yourself.
  17. I agree. I think many of these sites are used to vent.

As a punishment for bullying, a mom abuses her daughter?

Asked by Adeptus Astartes at 22 May,2013
She made the poor girl wear clothes from the thrift store! Someone take that poor girl away from that wretched woman! Source: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2328081/Mom-makes-daughter-wear-horrible-thrift-store-clothes-teach-lesson-bullying-students.html?ICO=most_read_module What do you guys think? Really abusive or Just a little abusive

Best Answer:
Temple ♥ Is An Island at 22 May,2013
That's not abuse, and fifty dollars ain't cheap, least not to me. As a child i was "punished" with a belt, extension cord, 12 inch long six in wide paddle and more than a few pops to the mouth. If only my mother believed in forcing me to wear ugly cloths as a punishment, we might get along better.

Other Answers:
  1. no that's not abusive
  2. This is not at all abusive. It is a brilliant, customized form of punishment fitting to her offenses.

If more parents of bullying children took action like this, there would be considerably less bullying and it would be halted early before the child turns to physical bullying.
  3. Not abusive. That girl needed her head rearranged, and this woman showed excellent skill in providing that service to her.
  4. I think most parents should buy their kids cheap/thrift clothing. There's no reason for kids to wear high end expensive clothing that they're likely to outgrow or ruin.
  5. well no one hit her all they did was try to make her feel the same way her victims felt thats a good idea.
  7. There is nothing wrong with wearing thrift store clothes. The woman should have made her daughter wear a sign saying "I am a bully."
  8. Step-mom... talk about fitting into stereotypes. But let us give her the benefit of doubt - maybe she had the girl's best interests at heart. How the story leaked to the daily mail though, I'll never know. They love sensationalizing stuff. Parents should be allowed to discipline their kids without everything being labelled abuse. They are spoiled enough as it is. You know the old saying - spoil the rod, spare the child. Oh wait, I got it backwards. Spare the rod, spoil the child. A lot of wisdom in those old sayings. Sometimes we don't give old folks their proper due, but only when we are as old as them do we realize how right they were about a lot of things, and then we cringe when we recollect what know-it-alls we were. No offence to KIA.
  9. She's a hero!

Humiliation is the best cure for the little f*ckers.
  10. She had $20in her pocket and popped some tags.....

I think a better punishment would have been to have her daughter volunteer to help others. What the Mom did was just the same as bullying. Tried to make her kid feel bad.
  11. OMG she looks like crap in those cheap aѕs clothes. She must be the laughing stock of the entire school now. That'll teach the bullying bіtch.
  12. I raised with a paddling and hard labor when I stepped out of line and that's how I raise my kids. This girl got of too easy if you ask me.
  13. Not abusive at all, it's genius.
  14. Not abuse. In fact I'd probably wear that blue dress with the red flowers all over. Cute....
  15. No, not abusive.

My mom used to make me eat soap for doing much less.

According to the Catholic Church, a fetus becomes a "life" only when blood is merged with the embryo, 22 days after fertilisation. So, religiously speaking, whether or not abortion should be morally acceptable before this point is ambiguous. However, the Catholic Church also forbids contraception such as condoms, so they're a little bit nutty. Scientists will argue that a life either begins at conception, fertilisation, at implantation, when the heart begins to beat, or at birth. After this point, abortion is ending a life, therefore should be illegal and considered murder. That is why different people believe that it should be illegal or only legal up until a certain time period. Personally, I am not pro life or pro choice, but I have my own personal opinions on abortion. I generally feel that it's unnecessary, and that people should take responsibility for their sexual decisions (when the sex was consensual). I'm unsure of when I believe life begins, but I would probably lean towards implantation (day 6) which would mean I shouldn't, theoretically, be against the morning after pill. Abortion is both a scientific (logical) and moral (emotional) issue. The idea that someone can easily take the life of what could have grown up to be a real person is frightening. We shouldn't have the right to control something like that. Abortion has also obviously become a gender issue, with many people taking offence to it because (a) it's something only women can legally decide, and (b) one parent therefore has no say in whether or not his child lives or dies. The problem is, though, that this is unsolvable. Either way, one gender is being disadvantaged, whether by lack of choice or by forced pregnancy. One is a legal disadvantage, the other is a natural "disadvantage". No matter how I feel on the issue, I'm not sure whether any of us should be so arrogant as to assume our "opinion" on the matter should be important enough to dictate other people's lifestyle choices... The murder of a human being is a simple, clear-cut issue. Whether or not early term abortion / late term abortion / morning after pill should be considered murder is too subjective.

Other Answers:
  1. Religion INCLUDES moral/ethical thought.

I think they oppose it and its not their body so it's not their business.

Pro-choice includes ALL options, including no termination.
  2. Mainly because they think it's a helpless human being.
  3. Note that there are atheists, non-religious folk, and agnostics who are prolife.
  4. the simple truth is the weight of guilty if the women make the wrong decision with her body is on her shoulders. it isn't a mans decision or guilty to have to bare. the only thing worse then abortion is a state that has control over your body and reproductive organs. ALSO to the retard under me, If men are concerned women may abort their children they shouldn't impregnate them, it take to people retard.
  5. If you didn't want a baby, you shouldn't have opened your legs like a whоre and let some guy blow his ENTIRE load inside you.

If you were raped, well, you should have tried harder to fight off your rapist.
  6. Religious beliefs and moral beliefs are very different. It depends it the person. I am a Christian but the reason I am mostly pro-life and do not like abortion is not based on my religion. It is a human life and it should be treated as such, especially if the parents did not try to prevent pregnancy . Nothing p*sses me off more than extremely stupid and irresponsible people having sex and aborting babies left & right. The only exceptions I see are rape and life threatening situations.
Not really sure why you're all thumbing me down.
  7. People who oppose abortion have varying reasons for it. It depends on the individual in question, of course.

Personally, I think it's a horrible thing - albeit a necessary one at times.

I've never had an abortion myself, and I take every preventative measure to ensure that I don't get pregnant.

Currently I'm practicing abstinence and I am doing quite well in my endeavor...

    : P
  8. I'm against abortion of female fetuses because I want as many sexy young things as possible running around. The more the better. I'm also against birth control for the same reason (unless I have to pay for or take care of the child). I don't really care if people abort male fetuses just as long as there are enough guys left for breeding purposes.
  9. I believe it's unarguably human life, and it's rather arbitrary to prohibit abortion at 21 weeks gestation when it was legal at 19 weeks. At what point do we declare it a human life that must be afforded basic human rights? To me, after implantation, it's too late to terminate.
  10. Personally I am pro-choice. It's easy to say that a woman opened her legs and she should deal with the consequences. Sometimes contraceptions fails to work and people make mistakes. Abortion isn't an ideal solution, but if you're not ready to have a baby, no point making yours and the baby's life miserable. I've had a few pregnancy scares before and in each case I was prepared to have an abortion. For some women abortion is a hard decision to make, but for me as harsh as it sounds wouldn't affect me. I know why people think it's selfish but we all make mistakes.

If I got pregnant now I would have an abortion as having a baby would seriously ruin my life, I'm 21! I could give it up for adoption but I would find that a thousand times more painful than getting an abortion and you don't know to what kind of family the baby will go to, they might be some nutters and I certainly wouldn't be able to take care of a baby. I do understand why some people are anti-abortion but I think that it's a woman's choice, a baby alter's a woman's life dramatically and it doesn't affect men in the same way. A woman has to carry it for 9 months and be the primary caregiver whilst men can walk away if they please. Why give birth to a child only for it not to be wanted? Also my view is than an embryo is not a conscious being nor has its life actually begun.

Abortion is taking away the chance of having a life I understand but life is ended everyday whether someone be hit by a car or murdered by a serial killer. Life is taken everyday, most of the time unjust and unexpected. Maybe some babies arent meant to be born especially in this dangerous and cruel world. That's just my opinion!
  11. Mostly for religious reasons.

I used to be completely pro-life, and I even went to a protest at an abortion clinic when I was a teen. *hangs head*

I'm now pro-life for myself and pro-choice for everyone else.

Forcing women to gestate is a form of tyranny, and it reduces them to nothing but baby making machines. It takes away the right to decide what to do with their own bodies. I realize that now.
  12. According to the Catholic Church, a fetus becomes a "life" only when blood is merged with the embryo, 22 days after fertilisation.

What is a "Real Man"?

Asked by Andrew at 22 May,2013
I always hear women saying "ooo girl I want me a real man" etc. Then go on to say he has to be tough, macho, loyal, stand up, husky, broad shoulders, assertive, domineering, but at the same time sweet and sensitive. I'm an educated person, and from my understanding a "Real Man" is simply a boy that finally finished the process of puberty. That is it. When women say they want a "Real Man" what they are really saying is qualities and traits THEY in particular find attractive in a partner: Preferences. There are many men out there who don't have broad shoulders, arent very husky, maybe skinny and have a lean body, arent the most assertive types, but can get by if the need to. Don't like to be domineering. Arent the toughest cookie in town, but can hold their own. Just because these aren't the traits you like in a Man does not mean their not a "Real Man"(all a man is a boy thats been through puberty) their just not mean of your particular choice of preference. So why can't you just say I want a man with these traits, or these qualities instead of saying something illogical like "Real Man"? @The Blunt, you didn't read my post. I said the concept of a "Real Man" is a false concepts because a man is simply a boy who reached puberty. What the women in alaska or the college educated women are not talking about real men, but personal preferences. Their personal preferences has no status on the biological status of a man.

Best Answer:
Zeta3 at 22 May,2013
You are correct a boy just needs to reach puberty to become a man er "realman" Most women think a man needs to be baptized by a woman in order to graduate to that next level. This is completely wrong. A man is a man because that is what he is. it's not up for debate. And a woman's opinions on the matter are irrelevant. once you start working and taking care of yourself. you're a man. You don't need to win a raffle nor a woman's approval to be a man.

Other Answers:
  1. A man who doesn't care how he is defined.
  2. A woman who lives in the middle of Buttfück, Alaska and who likes to hunt and fish will have a different interpretation of "a real man" than, say, a college-educated liberal yuppie woman who lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

Since this question is too broad and deals with stereotypes, it therefore has no valid answer.
  3. A man who is loud, boisterous, and outgoing, tall, wide, fights and wins, makes lots of money, and owns a nie car / big truck.
  4. idk
  5. This looks more like a rant than a question.
  6. Got cha. yes in the literal sense understand what it be you say. Let's get more literal here after all a real man is just one who is not a manican or a GI Joe doll etc etc..traits a real man,is one of his word. not a light switch . or a flip flop in what he says. He is loyal as he is faithful. He loves for real and knows how to do so for real. There you go Andrew, like your name,it means Manly you know.
  7. I actually kind of agree with you.
  8. There isn't reallly a such thing as a real man, but if you to define it its a man that is sweet and always is there for you
  9. Lol you are simply excusing yourself to being a soft beta. You can call them preferences, but noone is going to date you anyway. Stop whining and get to the gym instead.
  10. A loyal non head game man
  11. You are correct a boy just needs to reach puberty to become a man er "realman"

No you're not old. And men can smell when a woman is desperate to just ensnare him and get married. If you change your attitude a bit and see dating as a time to have fun and learn from partners I'd bet you you'd find someone sooner.

Other Answers:
  1. your never too old to marry. just keep looking. chin up
  2. Of course not. You're being silly. People still get married way older than that. It's not a big deal. Relax.
  3. Start worrying when you're in your forties. You're still fine.
  4. I don't think it is too late for you to marry. I've got some male friends around the age of 30 and vast majority of them is single or not married yet.

And I also don't feel dirty after masturbating.
  5. Aw don't be sad. You're still so young. Don't feel bad about masturbating the truth is most people do but lie about it. It's not dirty it's natural and healthy for men and women. Even married people still do it on occasion.

Keep looking their are plenty of single guys just waiting for you.
  6. No you're not old.

  7. no
  8. 25? perfect age ...It's even not so good to marry younger than that because A- you need to live your life and B- people change...more so after 25.

    You are young,cheers
  9. I will be 33 in 2 weeks, and i am not married yet. Me and my boyfriend have lived together for 4 years. i personally do not care if he ever proposes, out love is strong without all the formalitys. It does not matter to me
  10. Seriously? Move to Europe, nobody gets married before 30 here.

Also, why do you feel dirty? Your repressed attitude about your sexuality probably bothers men more than your degree. In fact, i can't imagine your degree matters to any men anywhere.

How to stop being so jealous of other women?

Asked by Meredith (Merebear) W. at 22 May,2013
There's a girl that I know and sadly we went to middle and now (I am in ninth grade), we go to the SAME high school!!! Its killing me. This girl is so perfect. She's smart, beautiful, so beautiful I'd go gay for her (not literally), has perfect hair, skinny, has perfect teeth, a great boyfriend, and she is like really nice and popular. Its so not fair. Me and my friend literally hate her but the thing is, he hasn't done anything to me at all. How can I stop being so jealous? I'm not ugly but I'm not super pretty either. ):

Best Answer:
Alien from Pluto at 22 May,2013
First off since this girl has done nothing to you it's not right for you to hate her just for what she has. Just improve on your attitude and motivation and things we change for the better of you. Don't compare yourself to others that's your problem. Focus on your own life. The more and more you dwell on things the worse the situation gets. Envy gets the worst of us.

Other Answers:
  1. Just become happy and comfortable with yourself, then other people seeming so much better wont bother you as much.
  2. Because she's so much better than you and it drives you crazy. Right?

    Well, get over it.

There's always going to be people that are better than you throughout your whole life.

Just let it go and be happy with who you are.

Otherwise you're just going to waste a lot of time making yourself miserable for no reason.

Life is short. Go live it and stop worrying about other people
  3. Focus on school or work writing etc.

if you dwell on this sort of thing you won't beat them. you'll be right where you are ten years from now while they are "knocking em dead."

if you want to be successful in life you have to sacrifice the little things like getting involved in that sewing circle talk. it's useless and will get you nowhere.
  4. How about you think of yourself as the top girl that's really pretty
  5. First off since this girl has done nothing to you it's not right for you to hate her just for what she has. Just improve on your attitude and motivation and things we change for the better of you. Don't compare yourself to others that's your problem. Focus on your own life.

  6. Stop comparing yourself to other people.
  7. I bet if you got close to her and became her friend you'd eventually see she isn't "perfect". Nobody is. The sooner you realize that, the better off you'll be.
  8. I'm just starting to get over that. I would go to school with a new outfit or hairdo and feel confident about myself until I would see another girl who looks way better than me. Then I would be all like "screw it. What's the point." True story too. That was last semester in November. I haven't put much effort in my looks since because I felt like there was no point if someone was always going to beat you. Eventually feeling like this led to the demise of a good relationship. So you can do two things: accept the fact that someone will always be better at you in some form or end up like me: a bitter and lonely girl.

  8. I'm not a female but I have been invited to travel after meeting a girl on line. It worked out great, we did dinner and drinks, went back to her place and talked. We laughed and joked for an hour or so then both of us got naked and we had some of the best oral sex I have ever given. The next day we hung out and did the same thing only in a different part of the city. That night we opened a couple bottles of wine and again had the best sex you could have. No regrets no promises. I left the next day and we haven't seen each other since. We emailed a bit but that soon ended and all is good.

GENTLEMEN: Do you like women with eye brows that are closer to their eyes or further from their eyes?

  2. what makes you think we look at your eyebrows? We stare at breast all the time and you guys notice if they are too far apart, we just notice if you have two and how big they are.

lol ella you beat me too it
  3. Eyebrows closer to the eyes is a sign of higher testosterone levels.

Eyebrows farther from the eyes is a sign of higher estrogen levels.

That's one of the things you change on a person's face in photo shop if you want to make them look like the opposite gender.
  4. The one with the low cut top...

and I do PREFER women who have two eyebrows...(But, am willing to look beyond that flaw provided she has low self-esteem and weak morale fibre)
  5. Further.
  6. if the are too far apart the nose looks bigger
  7. I think about this kind of stuff all the time, but then I realized guys don't even pay attention. Women will notice though lol

Feminists: Should male rape victims be held liable for child support?

Asked by Meat Train: I am better than all of you at 22 May,2013
if the child was conceived as a result of the rape. In all US states, the male has to pay child support even if he was raped from the sexual encounter. But in all states, the woman can abort (depending on how far you are in term). http://www.tampabay.com/news/courts/he-says-he-said-no-to-sex-now-says-no-to-child-support/1183449 http://www.oscn.net/applications/oscn/DeliverDocument.asp?citeID=441505 http://heinonline.org/HOL/LandingPage?collection=journals&handle=hein.journals/geolr36&div=17 You see, if a man does not consent to sex he shouldn't have to pay child support. If a man is underage and does "consent" to a woman who can consent, he should not be held legally responsible for the woman's decision to bring the baby to term because he cannot legally consent, whether or not he did in fact say yes. I find the whole argument over "well, the woman should be allowed to abort because it's her body" is irrelevant because the issue is whether or not she should be held responsible for raising it. Even if you are pro-life, female rape victims could unilaterally put the baby up for adoption, something that these male victims are not being afforded. I believe if it is a woman's body, it is her choice. But I also believe that because it is the male's wallet, it is his choice. This is probably the most obvious cases of where a male should not be held liable for child support, but even these cannot pass. If it is about the child's welfare, then the STATE should be supporting the child. The male rape victim shouldn't be punished financially for a crime committed against him. @bella: only 2-8% of rape accusations are false. So why wouldn't this apply to male rape victims?

Best Answer:
Sapient at 22 May,2013
No, a male rape victim shouldn't have to pay child support. In your first case, it seems that the male isn't claiming rape until he got the notice about child support, and it wasn't statutory rape. Was it rape? I don't know, and neither do you. In the other two cases, it was definitely statutory rape, at least, and the males involved should not have to pay support at all. The females involved were old enough, and enough older than the males, to know that these guys were still kids, incapable of giving consent, and the boys were certainly not old enough to become parents.

Other Answers:
  1. I don't get why men are forced to pay child support when it isn't his fault but women can get pregnant of their own free will and abort or even put the kid up to adoption when she doesn't want to take care of baby.

@fionna, then how come it's okay for women to abort her fetus any time she wants?
  2. Child support is for the child. We don't punish children for the crimes of their parents and biologically it's his child so he must support it. I'm sorry but a child's well being comes before that of the parent's.
  3. If that were to happen ALL males would cry rape just to get out of paying child support. Bottom line, the male has the option of wearing a condom or remaining flaccid.
  4. I don't see how that could possibly be justified.

A male rape victim cannot get an abortion the way a female victim can. So forcing him to pay child support would be a form of enslavement, as it does not result through any fault or action of his.

@Bella. An erection is not a choice, and a rape victim can't put on a condom. You disgust me.

A rapist should never have custody of children anyway. The child should become a ward of the state by default unless the raped male wants custody. The RAPIST should have to pay child support.
  5. If a man is raped and he still has to pay child support that is discrimination against men.

The female rapist should get nothing.
  6. No, a male rape victim shouldn't have to pay child support.

No. I only give one chance. I have my own pride and I'm not there at people's disposal whenever they feel like being with me. Didn't want me in the past, well, too bad and too late. Plus, the rejection would have left me with too much of a bitter taste to be able to retain any feelings for the said person. I'd probably be over them long before they realized they liked me. Like I said, too late.

Other Answers:
  1. I would consider it.
  2. Yeah probably. I wouldn't have anything against a girl who rejected me unless she did if for a dumb reason like I wasn't muscular enough.
  3. If I still liked them yes. It takes some people more time to develop feelings for somebody, or maybe they didn't see you as they see you now, or maybe they even changed as people and realized that you're the best person to be in their lives at this moment. You should never give something you want up because of pride.
  4. No. If you're not banging her.... there is NO reason whatsoever to associate with a female. Women are ALWAYS giving guys the brush.... and then the guy makes some money, gets a little older... gets a little wiser... gets a little fame... GETS ANOTHER GIRLFRIEND..... and the chicks who wouldn't give him the time of day, are starting to think he looks pretty good!

EJECT THEM WITH ZERO HESITATION OR REMORSE.

    ONE CHANCE.
    PER CHICK.
    PER LIFETIME.

    NO EXCEPTIONS. .

If she didn't want you THEN.... why would she suddenly want you NOW???????
  5. No. I only give one chance. I have my own pride and I'm not there at people's disposal whenever they feel like being with me. Didn't want me in the past, well, too bad and too late. 6. No. Once a woman says no to me a part of me just shuts off when it comes to her. I guess it is a defense mechanism to avoid the pain of rejection. I have never yet to date ever got back into a relationship with an ex of mine. Once it is over it is over period. That same feeling cross over into dating for me. I don't take a 'no' personally, but for me 'no' tends to be no forever.

I am not saying that a good quality woman could not get me interested in her a 2nd time, it has just never happened yet.

The only rejection(s) that I have accepted without shutting her down is if she already has a BF or she just isn't looking for a relationship. However if she gives me the line of not looking for a relationship but then starts dating someone else she is black balled.

Dudes: How do you deal with friends who bring up bad qualities about yourself when if front of a girl?

Asked by John at 22 May,2013
Like when you're hanging out with some bros and they go out of their way to bring up bad qualities about you or "un-cool" things you've done in the past so that the girl will become less interested in you and more interested in them. How do you "disarm" them?

Best Answer:
Isabelle at 22 May,2013
Flush 'em. They're not real friends, they're frenemies. Alot of ''popular'' people have frenemies and they lie to people to portray a facade of high social status and they have these many, many ''friends'' when they are actually ''frenemies''. They are dishonest. Better to be alone than with inferior company. Those frenemies ''out to get you'' and bring you down are inferior company; small minded, paltry, belittling. Bless them, wish them the best, pray for them; but as far as physical proximity goes, flush 'em. Try to find the good who won't treat you like this. lots of luv xoxo

Other Answers:
  1. I'd stop being friends with him. He sounds like a jerk.
  2. I would beat them up but them up. The girl will be scared if I do that she will think am a creep,so just give awsome comebacks embarass them too. Good luck
  3. Well, first of all I wouldn't consider them friends anymore. Friends would never do that, and personally? I just think you don't have any 'friends' so you consider these people that don't care about you as 'friends'.

Get some real friends, bro. They seem like @$sholes anyways.
  4. i would talk to them in private and let them know you don't like it when they talk about certain things or bring up stuff from the past. usually they don't mean harm when they talk, they just trying to be funny. but if they continue to do it then there is bad intentions and you need to stop hanging with them when you're with your girl. try double dating with another couple that show you mutual respect.
  5. They are competing so be a competitor! If you choose not to stoop to their level, a mature female would notice this and give you props for it. Chances are though that you are dealing with a "girl" and not a "woman" so your only option is to engage in the competition. Either that or abort...leave the situation with the girl. To be honest, the girl probably doesn't notice the bad remarks...she thinks you are all just messing around. She's probably not old enough to subconsciously recognize what the negative remarks are truly intended to do (which is to compete for her attention).
  6. Flush 'em. They're not real friends, they're frenemies. Alot of ''popular'' people have frenemies and they lie to people to portray a facade of high social status and they have these many, many ''friends'' when they are actually ''frenemies''. They are dishonest.

  2. No, although they can certainly investigate whether a crime was committed and use that as the basis for an expulsion.

But they can't put anybody in jail or anything like that.
  3. No, so how a college could change rape laws I'm not sure.
  4. No! No male has EVER suffered a punishment for a crime due to the decision of a college school board.

    Nope. Not ever.

And even IF it did happen, it's not like the colleges would have used Title IX to justify lowering the burden of proof to find males guilty of sex crimes. Lol! That would be just crazy! Whoever thinks that must a dope!

Am I right? Or am I right!
  5. Being convicted of a crime isn't the only life ruining consequence that a person can suffer.
  6. No but colleges often do conceal certain crimes and try to sweep them under the rug so it doesn't harm enrollment or their reputation.

  4. No need to ask me.

I am uglier than Medusa. So ugly that not only do people turn into rocks when they see me, but UGLY rocks at that.
  5. I do wonder if some people's cute profile pictures are really them. And I've also wondered what people on Omegle look like... but that's about it. I probably wouldn't believe them even if they sent me a picture of them. You can't really trust anyone on the internet unless you know them in real life.

    Female.
  6. Its random and creates a wall of defence and wariness in a person who is asked questions like that, but some people have been tempted to ask them and have proceeded do to so. Personally, I think a person has to be either very brave, a leech or predator to do things like that and if they genuinely want to know if a person is pretty or sexy at the same time that they want to get closer to that person, then I would advise against being so blatant. Be polite and courteous rather than blunt in asking anything because the human instinct will automatically build defence walls around intelligent girls, so once the guard goes up, it is hard for an interrogator to break through and into that kind of persons life and build a serious and meaningful relationship with them through the net.

Why do men always use this argument against women?

Asked by Hannah at 21 May,2013
"Well, it wasn't women that had to die in wars..!!" As far as i'm aware, it also wasn't women's FAULT that so many men died in wars. Is that correct? Was it women that were sending them off to fight and die? I'm not big on history.. A shiny gold badge? Hmm. Well as long as it doesn't come engraved with the words "Top Contributor" then that's alright. It would make my lions look tacky... Voila- Thanks. I was only aware of Thatcher (since she's "mine"). And like i said, i'm not big on history. Though to be honest, this question is aimed more at America, since it's American men saying these things. I should have worded my question differently. How many American women have done this? Thanks

Best Answer:
Patrick at 21 May,2013
Correct. A shiny gold badge for you. Now sit down and stop chewing in my classroom.

Other Answers:
  1. No, face it women do nothing to help a war, but they shure can cause them by being politicians etc
  2. I've only ever heard that used by a man who felt like he wasn't getting the respect he deserved. I think most men don't think we're better than women, we just want to be respected for the selfless things we do for others.
  3. Correct. A shiny gold badge for you.

Now sit down and stop chewing in my classroom.
  4. I've never used that argument, never heard of anyone using it either.
  5. It is incorrect, because wars are caused as much by men as by women. Do you think if all the wives of the solders stood up and oppose the wars they fought, the men would still be persistent in fighting them? Not many men can stand nagging wives without giving in.
  6. As far as I know men made the damn wars in the first place
  7. I have never heard that my entire life
  8. "I'm not big on history"

    Explains it all.
BTW, Isabella (u dont know who that is lulz) ordered the deaths of more people than Hitler.
  9. Female leaders who sent men to war:
    Catherine the Great
    Elizabeth I
    Indira Ghandi
    Golda Meir
    Margaret Thatcher

    ...

Many men have fought and died to protect or protect the interests of their respective countries, which include men AND WOMEN. Women can choose to be ungrateful for their sacrifices, but these same women likely still benefit because of them.
  10. Women wasn't allowed into warfare up until the 21st Century. But the did participate by helping them when they were injured as nurses in the battle field. And your opinion is wrong about women's FAULT that so many men died in wars. Wars have started because of Women. The Battle of Troy ring a bell.
  11. Is it men's fault that women in Africa are subject to genital mutilation? The whole process is done by women.

Is it men's fault that women are slut shamed? It's mostly done by women.
  12. Because women expect us to believe that being in the kitchen is much worse than getting shot at on the battlefield.

Not only that there been plenty of female leaders/rulers through out history that started wars and sent men there, even though women never have to fight in one themselves. Women get to have power and privileges without any responsibilities, and yet feminists expect us to believe in the lie that: that they were "oppressed" through out history.
  13. You actually don't realize the backstory on many wars (this isn't published).

A power hungry and slightly mentally unstable man is sitting around the house with his wife/gf. She says to him "All you seem to do around here is (insert era appropriate activity like watching TV or starting fires with sticks). Why don't you get out of my hair and go DO SOMETHING for crying out loud."

He goes out, gathers other men whose wives/gf's told them to get out of the house. They raid the next village or roll tanks across a border. A war begins.
  14. Yet if all men were to leave our military tomorrow we'd be f*cked.

    <3maleshaming ;)
  15. O contraire!

I implore you to visit a women's prison. The world has always had violent women - it's just that they tend to get locked away so you never have to see them, and your view of women shifts to being one of gentleness.

Without men, there would still be war. It would just be less organized and more chaotic, because the women out there who are the most like men can't control themselves. That's why they end up in prison. Males have a special nature to both be strong and be in control.
  16. It's not an argument they use against women. It's against feminists cause apparently they think men have no issues and only women are victims.

Men do not start wars. You cannot blame all men in existence for things other countries have done. It takes decisions of both men and women to run a country. God I hate it when people only blame men. Money and people start wars. Viola Ted is right female leaders have sent men to wars too.

Do women tend to like cats because they share similar traits?

Asked by Viola Ted at 21 May,2013
They don't listen. They ignore you until they want your affection, then they demand your attention. They often misdirect their anger and may take a sudden, unprovoked swipe at you. They laze around doing nothing productive. They obsess over their appearance, primping and preening endlessly. They are fiercely independent until they want something from you. They expect you to give them what they want just because they are cute and rub you on the leg. Don't get me wrong. I love kitties.

Cats expect far, far less from people than many other pets. As for being fickle, easily angered, and "lazy" - I would suggest that you think about where cats actually belong. They belong outdoors, fending for themselves and hunting for food. It is silly to even mention laziness as a trait in cats, considering they can't do much else when trapped indoors. =^-^= They expect nothing from you until you choose to become their owner.

  1. Yeah, hence the crazy cat lady syndrome.

    NO THANKS!

    I HATE CATS!!!!

I really do, with a passion.

    I like Hyenas better.

Edit: You LOVE kitties??? Ok staying away from you too.
  2. sounds like cats have the same traits as men
Doing nothing productive is men's main talent
  3. Actually, I've noticed that most women today prefer dogs, probably because the dogs fill the void of having the man that biology tells them they need, but which they are no longer capable of getting due to their modern, unrealistic demands. Dogs are loyal and will protect them always, and all that stuff. Additionally, dogs require maintenance, which is in a female's social nature (how they get offended if a friend doesn't go out of her way to make plans to get together every so often, and so on).

There seems to be a growing number of men who prefer cats because they're less maintenance; guys can just mope around the house and sleep until noon or whatever, and the cat won't bother them.

The stereotype that cats are for women and dogs are for men probably comes from the days when men had to do the outdoor work and women did the housework. Nowadays, I don't think the stereotype is valid anymore.
  4. I don't dislike cats, but i wouldn't want one. They scratch you without reason. They do nothing. The kids can't really play with them. You can't tell them to go away

    I'm a dog person
  5. ya, one has a P*ssy and one is a p*ssy
  6. That does describe a few people i know. They're not women though. Surprise surprise.
  7. Your opinion of women is why you don't attract good women. I hate cats.
  8. And incredible fickle.
  9. I'm actually scared of cats *embarassed*. I love dogs.
  10. Dogs are very emotionally-dependent--just like a child. I am one of those rare women who has no maternal instinct whatsoever, so I'm fond of neither dogs nor children. However, I tolerate both in order to be a socially-acceptable person.

The thing that I like about cats is their independence. And I've rarely found myself resenting one when it decides that it wants something from me.

BTW, here's a question for YOU: Have you noticed that it's socially-acceptable for people to say that they hate cats, but it's definitely NOT OK to say that you don't like dogs or kids? People who meet me and who know that I have a cat seem to feel perfectly comfortable telling me how much they hate that species. Weird, huh? BTW, I don't blame people for disliking cats: You either like them or you don't--no big deal! (Just don't go around deliberately harming them because you don't like them, as many psychopathically-mean little boys are wont to do!)
  11. I like cats.

They don't take unprovoked swipes. They only "laze around" inside houses - cats outdoors walk around and explore and hunt, in addition to lazing around. They obsess over their appearance because they don't have any other way to clean themselves. Would you rather they be dirty and smelly all the time? They may be fiercely independent but at least they are not desperately needy (unlike dogs) and because they evolved as solitary animals. They expect you to give them what they want because they can't get their own food (because they aren't let outside, because they aren't used to hunting for it on their own, and because they are used to being fed by someone). Dogs also expect you to give them what they want. They may not rub on legs to get it but they whine and whimper all the same. Also, a cat only ignores you when you don't know how to get its attention. Also, cats neither speak nor understand human languages so I don't think people should be too surprised if they get ignored by them.
  12. They're low maintenance, don't eat much and they're unlikely to wreck the house.

Yeah, I guess they are more like women.
  13. Are you kidding? Men are stereotypically a lot more like cats and women are stereotypically a lot more like dogs. Men are stereotypically hunters, stoic, and want to be in control, while women are stereotypically expressive, empathetic, and eager to please.
  14. That's pretty funny.

I don't hate cats, I just don't go ga-ga over them (which I guess is why they always single me out whenever I'm at someone's house who has cats). And I'm afraid to piss them off lest they pee on my.
